about the Collection
We Were Young is a collection of stools and chairs where each, much like mankind, has the same bones but a different personality. With endless possibilities, every piece is one-of-a-kind and proud of it, flaunting differing details from head to toe as it were, yet all sharing the same, humble “chair-shaped” frame with it’s understandable construction and logical angles. The majority of the textiles used are textiles with a past, that have since gotten the proper rehab and are cleaned and reinforced and made ready for their new life. The solidarity one piece finds with another is the ability to be unique and yet still coordinate with the other, knowing that when stripped down, they are all the same.
